Digital Qazaqstan Awards 2026: Winners of the National Technology Prize Announced

The awards ceremony for the Digital Qazaqstan Awards — the key event dedicated to the development and promotion of innovative solutions in artificial intelligence and digital technologies in Kazakhstan — was held as part of the international digital forum Digital Qazaqstan 2026.

The award brought together leading technology companies, startups, government initiatives, and regional projects that have made a significant contribution to the digital transformation of the country.

This year, 345 applications were submitted. A final pool of 162 projects from across Kazakhstan was selected. Winners in 5 categories were determined through a multi-stage evaluation process combining AI-powered analytical assessment and the decision of an expert jury.

In the Best AI Government Services category, the winner was Alaqan — a digital platform for automating and monitoring the delivery of government services. The prize was presented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev.

In the Best Industrial AI Project category, the winner was Aspans with the Fractal project — an AI-powered digital platform for managing industrial safety and operational processes. The prize was presented by Kazakhtelecom JSC Board Chairman Bagdat Musin.

In the Regional AI Transformation category, the winner was Ikigai Promotion with a project for developing an AI deployment ecosystem in business and the educational environment of Kazakhstan's regions. The prize was presented by Alageum Electric Group Board Chairman Yerkebulан Ilyasov.

In the AI for Social Impact category, the winner was Codo with the HR+ project (ASPPМ) — a system for monitoring the psycho-emotional wellbeing of children. The prize was presented by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Dinara Shcheglova.

In the Best AI Startup category, the winner was Protector AI — an AI and computer vision-based video analytics system that identifies signs of aggressive behaviour. The prize was presented by Freedom Holding Corp. CEO Timur Turlov.
