At the international technology forum Digital Qazaqstan in Shymkent, Deputy Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Dmitry Mun presented the operation of the National Artificial Intelligence Platform to the Prime Minister during a tour of the exhibition area.
As Dmitry Mun noted, this unified ecosystem has already become the foundation for creating and deploying AI solutions in the public sector, consolidating access to supercomputers, large language models, and more than 120 government databases. The platform does not merely automate processes - it functions as a kind of "factory" where more than 50 specialised AI agents have already been created to serve the needs of citizens and the state apparatus.
Particular attention during the presentation was given to the effectiveness of AI tools in the day-to-day work of ministries and agencies. The Deputy Minister emphasised that the AI assistant has already processed more than 1 million requests out of the 5.5 million submitted annually, significantly accelerating the work of 16 government agencies. Among the tools actively used by officials is a secure AI translator that has completed more than 400,000 translations, along with systems for the automated real-time transcription of meetings. The scale of the transformation is also confirmed by training figures: more than 60,000 employees have completed AI Qyzmet courses, and the total number of platform users has exceeded 15,000.
The foundation for these innovations is the AI DataHub - a centralised government data management model that transforms fragmented systems into a unified digital environment for analytics. According to Dmitry Mun, it is precisely this deep data processing that enables the launch of next-generation services for the population. The eGov AI intelligent consultant has already successfully processed more than 2 million requests, noticeably reducing the load on contact centres and Public Service Centres. AI agents currently span a wide range of areas - from automated gas meter reading to assistance for general practitioners in 38 clinics across the country and legal consultations through the Qazaq Law system.
Concluding his presentation for the head of the government, the Deputy Minister demonstrated the capabilities of the new model based on AlemGPT. This universal assistant is designed to fully automate routine processes, delivering transparent and rapid outcomes even on sensitive matters - such as transferring a child from one school to another.
This architecture of AI-based public administration enables Kazakhstan to steadily transition to the format of an "invisible government," where technologies operate proactively and create the most comfortable possible conditions for life and business.
