Akim of the region met with agrarians growing gourds

Earlier, regional akim Nurlybek Nalibayev instructed each district and suburban settlements of Kyzylorda to prepare special plots for sowing and sow gourds in order to increase food supplies and reduce dependence on products from outside. As a result, 1,454 hectares of land have been prepared in the region. Today, during his visit to the Zhanakorgan district, he visited the sown areas of the aul district of Zhaiylma, where he met with the peasants who were sowing gourds and discussed with them the prospects for harvesting.

Akim of the district Murat Tleumbetov said that 3003 families planted crops on 429 hectares. 203 hectares of these crops were sown by employees of subsidiary farms, and 226 hectares by the forces of peasant farms.

Akim of the region emphasized that now it is important to diversify crops and, taking into account the specifics of each village, it is necessary to increase the productivity of the land in every possible way. It was also instructed to speed up the issue of supplying water to the canals and timely receipt of pumping units.
