In the villages of Teplichnoye and Bolshaya Malyshka, North Kazakhstan Region, which have been affected by flooding, servicemen of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan continue to carry out public order protection duties.
Every day, 50 servicemen of the patrol-post service are deployed in the flood zone. Their main tasks include preventing unauthorized access to flooded areas, responding promptly to incidents, maintaining public order, and coordinating with local executive authorities and the emergency situations department. Measures are also being taken to minimize risks by preventing people from entering hazardous flood zones and falling into the water.
Since April 24, more than 800 cadets of the National Guard Academy and about 400 servicemen from military unit 6637 have been involved in dam reinforcement and the construction of protective barriers in the region.
Additionally, over 100 National Guard servicemen have been urgently strengthening defensive structures in the area of Bolshaya Malyshka village, where a local dam breach occurred due to the overflow of the Ishim River. These efforts are ongoing around the clock, with rapid response to changing conditions.
National Guard servicemen continue to work tirelessly in 24-hour shifts, ensuring the safety of citizens and protecting property in the flood-affected areas.
