Currently, more than 1,000 servicemen are pursuing higher and postgraduate education programs. Among them, about 800 are studying in domestic educational institutions, while over 30 officers and approximately 200 cadets are undergoing training in Russia, Turkey, and China.
Special attention is given to the retraining and professional development of officers in the law enforcement forces. Every year, around 450 servicemen are sent to specialized courses both in Kazakhstan and abroad.
Training is conducted under conditions as close to real-life scenarios as possible. Strict discipline, tactical training, and the study of modern military strategies enable cadets, who will become officers, to confidently look toward the future.
- In addition to cadets from Kazakhstan, our university also hosts students from CIS countries and African nations. I am proud to represent Kazakhstan and the National Guard at this university. The training not only provides us with knowledge in military journalism but also helps us understand tactics, weaponry, and combat organization. We analyze real operations, study strategic decisions, and participate in field exercises, - said Alisher Askarbek, a fifth-year cadet at the Military University of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The main focus in training National Guard cadets is on discipline, physical fitness, and combat readiness.
- In the Turkish Gendarmerie, we receive language training, drill practice, and are introduced to combat tactics. Instructors share their experience, and the strict discipline and high-paced training help us adapt to any situation in the future, - shared Ghani Uzakbay, a cadet in the preparatory course at the Gendarmerie and Coast Guard Academy of the Republic of Turkey.
It is worth noting that the training of officer personnel for the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan is a key element in ensuring its combat readiness, professionalism, and authority among other security forces. This process is backed by years of collaboration between Kazakhstani and foreign military educational institutions.
