Public Figures Visit National Guard Military Unit for the First Time

A significant visit took place at Military Unit 5573 of the National Guard, where members of the Public Council of the Ministry of Internal Affairs had the opportunity to immerse themselves in military life, taste soldier’s food, participate in competitions, and discuss pressing issues with servicemen.

Unit Commander Ayan Yeszhanov presented a layout of the unit’s deployment, after which the delegation proceeded to the mess hall. Guests were shown the variety of food supplies and the quality of meal preparation. TV presenter Dinara Satzhan spoke with servicemen, gathering their opinions on army meals and military service in general.

The event continued in the gymnasium, where inter-unit competitions took place. Servicemen demonstrated their skills in disassembling and assembling the AK-74 Kalashnikov rifle and competed in tug-of-war matches. The winners were awarded by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, Sanzhar Adilov.

At the shooting range, guests tested their skills with a Glock-17 pistol, under the guidance of elite special forces unit "Bürkit". Particularly impressive results were shown by invited guests—blogger Berik Alpyshev and international-class boxing master Mukhit Amantaev, both former Ministry of Internal Affairs employees.

The delegation also visited the cultural and leisure center, where they held discussions with the personnel. Psychologist Toktar Koishibekov gave a lecture on identifying drug users, an essential topic for soldiers responsible for maintaining public order.

— Thank you for your service and dedication to the country. You are true patriots, and seeing men like you reassures me that our country is in safe hands, — expressed Dinara Satzhan, addressing the guardsmen.

At the conclusion of the visit, Major General S. Adilov presented letters of appreciation to both servicemen and guests, highlighting their contributions to military unity and the patriotic education of youth.
