Veterans and Guardsmen Unite to Work with Youth

An important step toward strengthening the military-patriotic education of young people has been taken through the cooperation between the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Association of Combat Veterans. A Memorandum of Bilateral Cooperation has been signed between the two parties.

The document was signed by Major General Kairat Umbetov, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, and Nabiden Usenov, Chairman of the Association. During the meeting, both sides emphasized the need to strengthen professional ties, expand cooperation in military-patriotic education, and support combat veterans.

The Association of Combat Veterans of Kazakhstan is actively engaged in educational work aimed at fostering patriotism, moral values, and spiritual development among citizens. One of the organization’s key priorities is youth education—instilling a sense of duty to the Motherland and respect for military service. In this context, the memorandum with the National Guard opens new opportunities for joint projects and initiatives.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Major General Kairat Umbetov highlighted:

“Military-patriotic education of young people is a crucial element of national security. Cooperation with the Association of Combat Veterans will allow us to expand the scale of this work, pass on the invaluable experience of our veterans to the younger generation, and instill a deep sense of loyalty to the Motherland.”

Members of the Association also stressed the importance of collaboration with the National Guard in youth development. They noted that joint efforts would help strengthen civic-patriotic education and promote military service among the younger generation.

The Memorandum will serve as a foundation for new joint projects, including thematic meetings, military-sports events, educational programs, and patriotic campaigns. This partnership will contribute to enhancing national security and fostering a strong sense of patriotism in society.
