"Bürkit" Special Forces of Kazakhstan’s National Guard Ranked Among the Top 10 in UAE SWAT Challenge 2025

From February 1 to 5, 2025, Dubai (UAE) hosted the sixth annual International Tactical Competition, the UAE SWAT Challenge 2025, featuring over 100 special forces teams from around the world.

Kazakhstan was represented at this prestigious tournament by three teams from the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

For five days, special forces operators demonstrated strength, endurance, and tactical mastery, overcoming extremely challenging tests simulating real combat operations. By the end of the competition, the "Ұлттық ұлан" team ranked among the world's top 10 best teams, reaffirming the high level of training of Kazakhstan’s servicemen.

The UAE SWAT Challenge is rightfully considered the Olympics of Special Forces, where the world’s elite units compete in marksmanship, speed, tactics, and coordination.

The main goal of the tournament is to enhance combat effectiveness and competitiveness among elite units.

It is worth noting that participation in this competition was not only an opportunity to exchange experience with the world’s leading special forces but also another testament to the high professionalism of Kazakhstan’s National Guard special forces.
