The platoon commander of National Guard military unit 5510 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Kokshetau, Erken Khaliolin, rescued an elderly woman who had been lying on the floor of her apartment for nearly a day without being able to move.
During a patrol, local resident Nurbul Kabdinov approached the head of the National Guard patrol unit and officers, asking for help. He reported that his elderly relative, who lived in a nearby residential building, had stopped answering phone calls and was not opening the door.
- My 73-year-old aunt had not gone to visit relatives or her children, so I decided to come to her home. But no one answered the door. After waiting for emergency services and an ambulance with no response, I turned to the National Guard servicemen for help, - said Nurbul Kabdinov.
The National Guard officers immediately reported the incident to the patrol duty officer. It turned out that during the night, the elderly woman had lost her balance and fallen, suffering fractures to her hip and shoulder.
Quickly arriving at the scene, duty officer Erken Khaliolin climbed through the window and entered the elderly woman’s second-floor apartment. He found her lying on the floor in the hallway, provided first aid, and then transferred her to medical professionals.
Once again, National Guard servicemen responded in a timely manner, saving a human life.
