A jubilee concert marking the 10th anniversary of the Male Choir of the Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Congress Hall in the capital. The performers presented the audience with some of the finest works from their repertoire.
The five-part program featured folk songs, classical works, music from feature films and international hits.
Improvisational performances held a special place in the concert. Videos created using artificial intelligence technologies were prepared to accompany several of the musical pieces.
Guests also took part in the concert program, performing their own musical numbers. They included the founders of the choir, established in 2016, as well as artists who had performed with the ensemble over the years.
Today, the National Guard Male Choir takes part in major national and international events. Its repertoire includes military-patriotic programs, festive concerts and cultural projects.
The choir’s professional level is reflected in its performance of challenging vocal pieces and its exploration of various musical genres. For example, the ensemble performed Linkin Park’s song “Numb” accompanied by the traditional Kazakh dombra, presenting the number to the audience of the Russian vocal show Nu-ka, vse vmeste! (“Come On, All Together!”).
