As part of the implementation of a joint action plan aimed at developing breeding and selection work among law enforcement agencies of Almaty and the Almaty Region, an important event took place to strengthen cooperation between canine units.
The Canine Center of military unit 6654 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan transferred three seven-month-old Belgian Malinois shepherd dogs to the Canine Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The young dogs will be used in further breeding programs, helping to enhance the genetic potential and working qualities of service dogs.
The pedigree of the transferred dogs is of particular interest. Their grandmother was brought to the Canine Center from Austria in 2019. Representatives of this bloodline have already proven themselves at prestigious dog shows held in Almaty. In particular, a puppy named Artist received the title of “Best Puppy” of the exhibition and also became a champion of the Russian Federation, confirming the high breeding standards and excellent hereditary qualities of the line.
According to specialists, the use of dogs with proven champion bloodlines in breeding programs will improve the quality of training for service dogs employed in maintaining public order and ensuring public safety.
The transfer of the dogs became another example of effective interagency cooperation aimed at combining efforts and resources for the development of Kazakhstan’s modern canine service.
