National Guard troops prevent accident involving a child in Semey

In the city of Semey, conscript servicemen of military unit 5511 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan prevented a possible tragedy while performing public safety duties in one of the new residential districts.

While patrolling along Auezov Avenue, the military patrol noticed a small child on the third floor of a multi-story building standing near an open window without adult supervision.

The patrol commander, Corporal Daulet Seidaly, together with patrol members Corporal Beksultan Temirbekov and Private Ali Sagymbayev, observed that the child was playing by the window and had thrown a mobile phone and keys outside.

Assessing the situation as potentially dangerous, the servicemen took positions under the windows to be ready to catch the child in case of a fall.

“We stood under the windows to be able to catch the child if necessary. I then entered the building to check whether any adults were at home. After that, we called the police to the scene. Shortly afterward, the child’s father arrived from work,” said Corporal Daulet Seidaly.

It is worth noting that servicemen of the same military unit had previously assisted civilians by promptly providing first aid to a man who fell ill on the street, thereby helping to save his life.
