Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard Visits Military Unit in Kokshetau

As part of a working trip, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs – Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard, Major General Ansagan Baltabekov, conducted an inspection of military unit 5510 in Kokshetau, under the Regional Command “Ortalyq”.

During the visit, the Commander-in-Chief paid special attention to the service conditions of personnel, discipline, combat duty organization, equipment levels, and living infrastructure.
Unit commander Colonel Berik Kozhakhmetov presented the ongoing construction of a new barracks for conscripted servicemen. The building, being developed jointly with local authorities, is scheduled for completion in the fall of this year.

Key issues such as balanced nutrition and medical support were also discussed. General Baltabekov personally sampled the food served to servicemen in the unit’s canteen.

At the conclusion of the visit, the Commander-in-Chief thanked the troops for their diligent service and wished them continued success. He emphasized that the National Guard will continue systematic efforts to strengthen law and order, and ensure public safety across the country.
