A meeting was held in Shymkent with the participation of the ethics officer of the Internal State Audit Committee

Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Internal State Audit of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Ethics Commissioner Renad Khalidulovich Akhmetov held a meeting with employees of the Internal State Audit Department for the city of Shymkent.

During the meeting, explanatory work was carried out on the requirements and key provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Combating Corruption", as well as on the norms of the Code of Ethics for civil servants. Special attention was given to issues of compliance with ethical standards, prevention of corrupt practices, and the formation of a professional and responsible image of a state auditor.

A report on the results of the implementation of the standard work plan for ethics commissioners for 2024 and for the elapsed period of the current year was delivered by the Deputy Head of the Department — Ethics Commissioner N. Suleimenov.

The meeting was held in a businesslike and constructive atmosphere. Department staff received answers to pressing questions regarding the practical application of ethical standards and anti-corruption legislation.
