The Department of Internal State Audit of the Almaty region conducted an unscheduled audit of the fulfillment of contractual obligations for the average repair of the republican significance A-6 highway "Kokpek – Kegen – Republic of Kazakhstan border (Tyup)" (bypassing the Kegen pass). The work on the 53-68 km section was carried out within the framework of an agreement between JSC National Company KazAvtoZhol and the contractor.

During the audit, it was revealed that some of the work specified in the contract had not been completed. The total value of the outstanding obligations amounted to KZT 6.7 million.

According to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Highways," average repairs involve a set of measures aimed at restoring the operational characteristics of roads. However, the audit showed that the requirements of the legislation were not fully met.

According to JSC "National Company KazAvtoZhol," the contractor completed repair work worth KZT 6.7 million in accordance with the order. An internal meeting was held at the company's branch, during which the identified errors were thoroughly analyzed. One employee has been disciplined.
