The modern economy is developing very dynamically. Every day, government agencies face new challenges—digital technologies, global risks, and the need for effective resource management.
In such conditions, the usual audit, aimed only at checking documents and formal compliance with rules, no longer meets modern requirements.
Today, it is important not only to check how procedures are being followed, but also to understand how effectively public funds are being used and whether the set goals are being achieved.
A new approach to auditing helps to identify risks in advance, prevent mistakes, and make the work of government agencies more transparent and effective.
As part of the modernization of internal government audit business processes, the Committee has organized a training program at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The implementation of this project was made possible thanks to the support of the Eurasian Fund for Stabilization and Development.
A trilateral meeting was held between representatives of the Committee, the Academy, and the Fund. The participants discussed how to jointly improve the qualifications of auditors and exchange best practices in the field of internal state audit.
Such cooperation opens up new opportunities, from the exchange of experience and the introduction of international standards to the strengthening of professional skills.
Combining efforts will improve the internal state audit system, making it more open and effective.
This meeting was an important step towards long-term partnership and the development of a professional internal state audit system in Kazakhstan.
The main goal is to train a new generation of auditors who are able to work according to modern standards and help the state manage resources effectively.
