A member of the Scientific Advisory Council of the Constitutional Court gave a lecture on the role of constitutional control at the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies

On May 13, 2025, the Institute of Professional Training of the Academy of Law Enforcement Agencies under the General Prosecutor's Office held a guest lecture for cadets and teaching staff on “Constitutional control is the most important factor in ensuring constitutional legality”.

The event was organized for the students of the Academy.

The lecture was delivered by the Executive Director for rule-making of the Institute of Parliamentarism at the Office of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a member of the Scientific Advisory Council at the Constitutional Court, candidate of legal sciences, associate professor Almas Kanatov.

During the lecture, the key aspects of the Constitutional Court's activities aimed at ensuring and protecting the rights and freedoms of man and citizen were considered. Special attention was paid to law enforcement practice, the importance of court decisions in strengthening the rule of law, as well as the formation of sustainable constitutional and legal principles.

The lecturer presented the main aspects of his scientific works and articles on constitutional justice and legal theory, shared the results of his research activities and practical conclusions.

At the end of the meeting there was an exchange of views: the lecturer answered the questions of the audience, gave practical recommendations and emphasized the importance of educational and scientific cooperation in the field of public law.

The event contributed to the deepening of knowledge about the role of the Constitutional Court, development of analytical thinking and legal awareness of the participants.
