Astana discussed issues of improving the efficiency of the justice system in Kazakhstan

On February 28, 2025, an international roundtable dedicated to improving the efficiency of the justice system in Kazakhstan was held in Astana. The event, organized on the initiative of the Supreme Court and the OSCE Office in Astana, was attended by judges, members of Parliament, representatives of state bodies and international organizations, professional and scientific legal community.

In her welcoming speech, the Chairperson of the Constitutional Court Elvira Azimova outlined the key role of the Constitution in ensuring fair and lawful justice.

“The Constitutional Court and the courts are united in their mission to ensure the rule of law and access to justice. The effectiveness of achieving these goals is an essential indicator for assessing the sustainability of democracy and the protection of individuals and their rights”, - said Elvira Azimova.
