Chairperson of the Constitutional Court Elvira Azimova met with the Head of the OSCE Program Office in Astana, Volker Frohbarth, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting Azimova expressed her gratitude to the OSCE Office in Astana for supporting the Constitutional Court's projects in the field of rule of law and human rights.

Participants named the project on translation into Braille and publication for visually impaired citizens of the text of the Constitution in the state and Russian languages, as amended by the results of the national referendum of 2022, as one of the successful joint initiatives. All issued editions were donated to 17 institutions of special education and 41 branches of the library system of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The project received positive feedback from citizens with visual impairments and teachers of special educational organizations.

The participants of the meeting agreed to continue cooperation in the field of the rule of law.
