Delegation of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights visited the Constitutional Court

The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Constitutional Court Yerlan Saparov met at the Constitutional Court with a delegation of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) consisting of the Head of the Democratization Department Konstantin Vardzelashvili and the Head of the Rule of Law Department Gennady Barba.

During the meeting E. Saparov informed the OSCE ODIHR representatives in detail about the current activities of the Constitutional Court and the adopted normative decisions. Particular attention was paid to the decisions of the constitutional control body, issued following the review of the criminal and criminal procedural legislation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed on further cooperation, mutual exchange of information and provision of expert support by the OSCE/ODIHR.
