Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court took part in the international conference in Minsk

Deputy Chairman of the Constitutional Court Bakyt Nurmukhanov visited the Republic of Belarus (Minsk), where he took part in the international conference dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of Belarus on the topic "The supremacy of the Constitution: constitutional changes and modern development of constitutional control".

The international dialog platform brought together representatives of constitutional control bodies of the CIS countries, presidents of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union and economic courts of the CIS countries, as well as representatives of the scientific community.

The conference considered the presentations of the participants on the results of legislative reforms in Belarus, modern development of constitutional control in the CIS countries, ensuring the priority of the Constitution in the work of courts of general jurisdiction, as well as an extensive exchange of views.

Bakyt Nurmukhanov made a report "Evolution of constitutional control in the Republic of Kazakhstan at the present stage of development".

Within the framework of the visit, the representative of the Constitutional Court of the RK held bilateral business meetings with the Chairman of the Constitutional Court, judges and management of the CC Apparatus of the host country, within the framework of which legal issues related to judicial practice and mutual judicial-legal cooperation were discussed.
