Judges of the Constitutional Court met with a delegation of scholars from Germany

Judges of the Constitutional Court met with a delegation of scholars from Germany, who visited Astana by the invitation of KazGUU named after M. Narikbaev with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the visit the organizers held scholarly open lectures on the basis of the University for everyone who wished as part of the Days of German Law.

During the visit to the Constitutional Court foreign scholars were acquainted with the tasks and powers of the Kazakh constitutional control body and were informed about established scientific advisory council.

In addition, parties exchanged opinions on issues related to the constitutional complaint in general, participation in constitutional proceedings and legal requirements for consideration of appeals and decisions of the constitutional control body.

The German side expressed interest in continuing cooperation, including the exchange of experience on expert opinions and the participation of specialists with the invitation of the German constitutional control body.
