More than 100 legal consultants attended a webinar on constitutional proceedings

The Constitutional Court together with the Republican College of Legal Advisers organized a webinar on topical issues of constitutional proceedings.

The interactive event with the participation of the Chairperson of the CC Elvira Azimova, her deputy Bakyt Nurmukhanov, judges Aigul Kydyrbayeva and Yerlan Sarsembaev as well as employees of the CC Apparatus attracted more than 100 legal consultants from all regions of the country.

The speakers informed practicing lawyers with the main functions and powers of the Constitutional Court, the conditions, principles and features of constitutional proceedings as well as provided detailed explanation on the role of legal consultants in the process of filing appeals to this body.

During the Q&A session listeners had the opportunity to ask questions to the judges of the Constitutional Court and receive detailed answers to them.

Chairperson Elvira Azimova noted the importance of holding such events in raising public awareness on the activities of the Constitutional Court that explain the requirements for filing appeals and strengthens interaction with the professional legal community.
