Appeals of citizens were accepted to constitutional proceedings

The meeting of the Constitutional Court on acceptance of citizens’ appeals into constitutional proceedings was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman Elvira Azimova.

Judges of the Constitutional Court by unanimous vote decided to accept three appeals of citizens to constitutional proceedings concerning issues of compliance of certain norms of the Law «On Combating Corruption», the Civil Code, the Code of Administrative Offenses, the Code of Administrative Offenses and the Regulatory Resolution of the Supreme Court «On the Practice of Applying Laws on Adoption by Courts (adoption) of children» with the Constitution.

Work on preparation of materials already has started in accordance with the Constitutional Law «On the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan».

Two appeals were rejected on acceptance for constitutional proceedings since they did not meet admissibility conditions established by law and were applied outside the competence of the Constitutional Court.
