TÜRK-AY meeting was held

On December 24, 2022, member of the Constitutional Council Alibek Temerbekov participated online in a meeting of the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (TÜRK-AY).

The event was organized by the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye.

It was attended by the heads and representatives of the constitutional review bodies of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

The meeting participants discussed the draft Statute of the Conference, as well as issues of presidency and preparation of the first Congress.

Following the meeting, the Statute of the Conference was adopted, in accordance with which the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye assumed the mission of Presidency in TÜRK-AY.
