80th anniversary of the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan O. Zhalairi

October 21, 2022. An international scientific and practical conference was held on: "The building a new Kazakhstan: political, legal, economic and socio-cultural foundations", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Academician of the Academy of Higher Education, Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan O.Zhalairi.

Chairman of the Constitutional Council K.Mami sent a congratulatory address to the jubilarian and welcoming speech  to participants of the event, which were announced by members of the Constitutional Council A.Temerbekov and V. Malinovsky.

In the welcome speech it was noted that the scientific and legal heritage of the hero of the day dates back to the middle of the last century. His biography is evidence of a purposeful person, with a certain life position and a strong foundation. Having started his career as a mathematics teacher, he later devoted himself to legal science, having passed a glorious path from a student and graduate student of KazGU (Kazakh State University) to a doctor of law, professor and head of a university of legal profile. He founded D.A. Kunaev University, later renamed the Eurasian Law Academy, which will soon celebrate its 30th anniversary. Currently, the Eurasian Law Academy, headed by its Rector, is making a significant contribution to the modernization of the national legal system.

During the conference, domestic and foreign scientists, representatives of state and public structures discussed the political and legal aspects of realizing the potential of the Basic Law, the main directions of the Concept of Legal Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the period up to 2030, as well as issues of improving modern constitutional and legal processes in the country.
