10th Summer School of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions

On September 21-24, 2022, Aigul Mukusheva and Yuliya Verchenko, Chief Consultant and Expert of the Department of Legal Support and International Cooperation of the Office of the Constitutional Council, participated in the 10th Summer School of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions (AACC) on the topic: “Interpretation of the Constitution in the Protection of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms”.

The event, which took place in Ankara (Türkiye), was organized by the Center for Training and Human Resources Development of the AACC (Constitutional Court of Türkiye).

Aigul Mukusheva and Yuliya Verchenko made a presentation on the topic: “Protection of fundamental human and civil rights and freedoms in the interpretation of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan."

The summer school was attended by delegations from the ECHR, Azerbaijan, Albania, Bangladesh, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Indonesia, Cameroon, Korea, Kosovo, the Kyrgyz Republic, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Russia, Romania, North Macedonia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Türkiye, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Croatia.
