Kairat Mami receives the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Algeria to Kazakhstan

Chairman of the Constitutional Council Kairat Mami received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Algerian People's Democratic Republic to Kazakhstan, ex-Chairman of the Constitutional Council of Algeria Mr. Kamel Feniche.

Congratulating the Ambassador on the beginning of his diplomatic activity and wishing him success in this important mission, Kairat Mami noted the fruitful development of relations between the constitutional review bodies of the two countries.

 During the meeting, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council informed the guest about the ongoing constitutional reform in the country and the transformation of the Constitutional Council into the Constitutional Court with the expansion of the list of subjects of appeal.

In turn, Mr. Feniche thanked for the warm welcome and expressed confidence in the prospects for cooperation between Algeria and Kazakhstan, including in the constitutional and legal sphere.
