Meeting with international observers

Secretary General of the Constitutional Council Bakyt Nurmukhanov received the Deputy Head of the ODIHR/OSCE Mission for Referendum Assessment Mr. Dominic Howell and legal analyst of the Mission Ms. Svetlana Chetaikina.

During the meeting, Bakyt Nurmukhanov informed the guests about the modernization of the constitutional review institution with the establishment of the Constitutional Court, as well as about the powers of the Constitutional Council in matters of holding a referendum.

In turn, Mr. Dominic Howell thanked for the warm welcome and expressed his gratitude for the useful information.
