Turkish Constitutional Court expressed its support

Chairman of the Constitutional Council K. Mami held a telephone conversation with President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey Mr. Zuhtu Arslan.

Mr. Z.Arslan extended  his condolences and expressed support in connection with the recent tragic events in Kazakhstan.  

Mami informed his Turkish colleague that Kazakhstan has experienced an unprecedented attack by destructive groups. To counter it, the Head of state took the necessary measures in accordance with the procedure provided for by the Constitution. Due to this, the constitutional order was restored in the state.

A Memorandum of cooperation has been signed between us. Ways of interaction within the framework of the Association of Asian constitutional courts were considered. I am grateful for your concern and for your special phone call, K. Mami said.

Z.Arslan wished the situation to stabilize as soon as possible and invited his Kazakh colleague to pay an official visit to the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Turkey.
