SOLEMN MEETING IN THE CONSTITUTIONAL COUNCIL

On December 14, 2021, Solemn meeting dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Constitutional Council.

Opening the event, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council Kairat Mami said that this year was significant for the anniversary date - the 30th anniversary of the State sovereignty of Kazakhstan. All these years, under the leadership of the First President - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev, the State was able to gain true independence, establish state borders, form an effective State apparatus, and implement important reforms. They continue in the activities of the President of the Republic Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who initiated a number of measures to further strengthen the established Kazakhstan’s statehood, said the Speaker.

On the proposal of the Constitutional Council, a number of employees and citizens have been awarded State and other awards for a significant contribution to the implementation of constitutional values and exemplary service.

Member of the Constitutional Council Rahmet Mukashev was awarded the Order of “Barys” II degree. Marat Sarsembaev, Doctor of Law, Professor, member of the Scientific Advisory Council under the Constitutional Council was awarded the Order of “Parasat”.

Member of the Council Askhat Daulbaev was awarded the gratitude of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kairat Mami presented State awards to the staff of the Office: Medals “Ерен еңбегі үшін” (“For Distinguished Labour”) to Nurysh Tasbulatov, Elena Artemyeva and Saule Akhanova, Certificate of Merit of the Republic to Madina Span.

The Jubilee Medals “Қазақстан Республикасының Тәуелсіздігіне 30 жыл” (“30 years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan”) were awarded to the members of the Council Askhat Daulbaev, Victor Malinovskiy, Johann Merkel, Alibek Temerbekov, Unzila Shapak, as well as staff members Bakyt Nurmukhanov, Manon Badaliev, Elena Khan, Raushan Ualieva, Aizhan Esengalieva, Duman Omarov, Talgat Mushanov and Yuliya Verchenko.

The departmental award of the Constitutional Council - the Medal “Конституциялық заңдылықты нығайтуға қосқан үлесі үшін” (“For the contribution to the strengthening of constitutional legitimacy”) was awarded to: Vladimir Volkov, Chairman of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, Judicial System and Law Enforcement Agencies of the Senate of the Parliament; Kanatbek Safinov, the Secretary of this Committee; Arman Kozhakhmetov, Chairman of the Committee on Legislation and Judicial and Legal Reform of the Mazhilis of the Parliament; Nurlan Dulatbekov, Rector of the Buketov Karaganda University; Zholdasbek Nusenov, Rector of the Caspian University; Members of the Scientific Advisory Council under the Constitutional Council Marat Bashimov and Sholpan Tlepina.

The members of the Constitutional Council Victor Malinovskiy and Unzila Shapak, as well as the Secretary General Bakyt Nurmukhanov, were awarded the badge of the Kazakhstan Union of Lawyers “Қазақстанның құрметті заңгері” (“Honorary lawyer of Kazakhstan”).
