FORUM DEDICATED TO THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF SALYK ZIMANOV

On December 13, 2021 Chairman of the Constitutional Council Kairat Mami sent greetings to the participants of the Republican Scientific-Practical Conference “Salyk Zimanov and Kazakh statehood: history and legal development”, organized by the Atyrau regional court.

As the Chairman of the Constitutional Council Kairat Mami noted in his greetings, we must remember the names of people who have become the pride of the people. State and public figure Salyk Zimanovich Zimanov, who contributed to the acquisition of Independence and actively participated in the development of the Basic Law of an independent country, is a hero of his era, one of the outstanding lawyers, who was a mentor for many generations, a famous researcher of the State, pride of the nation, the authority of the world and domestic legal science! The moral life path and the rich heritage of the scientist Salyk Zimanovich, who formed a new scientific direction in the study of the theory of the national-state system of independent Kazakhstan, will forever remain in the memory of the great country! I wish that the graduates of the school named in honor of Salyk Zimanovich will become the same as himself, - concluded Kairat Mami.

Welcoming remarks were also made by the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhakyp Asanov and Deputy Executive Director of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation Igor Rogov.

During the event, a monument to Salyk Zimanov was unveiled.

The conference was attended by deputies of Parliament, representatives of the court, prosecutor's office, government agencies, educational institutions, and the scientific community of Kazakhstan.
