EXPERIENCE IS DISCUSSED FUNCTIONING OF JUDICIAL COUNCILS

On November 24, 2021, a member of the Constitutional Council I. Merkel and the adviser to the Chairman of the Constitutional Council B.Raisova took part in the work of the round table on "The role and place of the judicial councils in the judicial system and their modern models" in the online regime.

The event was organized by the Supreme Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan together with the European Commission for Democracy through law (Venice Commission).

The forum discusses modern models of judicial councils, their functions and tasks mechanisms and tools applied by them for the selection of judicial personnel, their role in training judges.

The event was attended by representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office, the Supreme Court, leading domestic and foreign scientists, experts, representatives of international organizations and law enforcement officers.
