ISSUES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF ADVOCACY WERE DISCUSSED

On November 19, 2021, member of the Constitutional Council U. Shapak took part online in the VI Kazakhstan Lawyers Forum dedicated to the topic: «Strategy for the development of advocacy».

This event is organized by the Republican Bar Association and the Center for Legal Policy Research with the support of the OSCE Program Office in Nur-Sultan.

During the event, issues related to international experience in the development and strengthening of lawyer communities, guarantees of the independence of a lawyer in professional activity, the quality of legal aid and the digitalization of lawyer services were discussed.

The forum was attended by representatives of government agencies, academia, advocacy, public and international organizations, leading international and national experts.
