3RD INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM OF THE ASSOCIATION OF ASIAN CONSTITUTIONAL COURTS

On November 10-11, 2021, Member of the Constitutional Council, Alibek Temerbekov participated online in the 3rd International Symposium of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions (AACC) on the topic: “Constitutional Rights and AACC members”.

The event was organized by the AACC Secretariat for Research and Development based in the Constitutional Court of Korea.

The conference was held in three sessions devoted to issues of common values and diverse aspects of the constitutional rights of AACC members, constitutional adjudication and the universality of human rights, as well as constitutional rights in the face of new challenges.

Within the framework of the conference, Alibek Temerbekov made a presentation on the topic: “Health protection as a universal human right in the final decisions of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan.”

The event was attended by representatives of the constitutional justice bodies of Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Jordan, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Russia, Singapore, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan, the Philippines, as well as representatives of international organizations.
