OPENING CEREMONY OF THE STELE WITH THE CLOCK “MANGILIK EL”

On November 5, 2021, solemn ceremony of opening the stele with a clock “Mangilik El” took place at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Addressing the welcoming speech to the participants of the event, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council Kairat Mami noted the symbolism of this important event on the eve of the historical milestone - the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. He emphasized that all these years a new and developing Kazakhstan had been created, the formation of Kazakhstan’s statehood, a new system of public administration had steadily evolved, solutions to systemic problems had been solved. In honor of the anniversary of the Independence of the Republic, graduates of the law faculty initiated the construction of this unique building.

Today we are proud to say: the participation of graduates in scientific and educational projects, assistance to the departments, the encouragement of talented youth with scholarships, the opening of named classrooms for our teachers and scientific leaders have become a daily practice in the alma mater, Kairat Mami summed up.
