GENDER EQUALITY ISSUES WERE DISCUSSED

On October 22, 2021, the Chief Consultant of the Department of Legal Support and International Cooperation of the Office of the Constitutional Council Natalia Kress participated in the meeting of the Consultative and Advisory Body under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Dialogue Platform on the Human Dimension”.

The meeting addressed issues on strengthening strategic partnerships with civil society in the field of gender equality, empowerment of women and girls; analysis of the Consultative and Advisory Body’s recommendations for the period 2013-2021; intermediate results of the Consultative and Advisory Body’s work on the implementation of the Plan of Priority Measures in the Field of Human Rights until the end of 2021, as well as other issues.

The meeting was attended by deputies of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of central government bodies, civil sector, youth NGOs, as well as representatives of international organizations.
