80TH ANNIVERSARY OF M.K. SULEIMENOV

On September 30, 2021, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council K. Mami sent greetings to the participants of the international scientific and practical conference on "The Civil Law in the era of transformation of public relations", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Law, Professor Suleimenov Maidan Kuntuarovich.

In his welcome speech, K. Mami noted that Maidan Kuntuarovich, as part of the Expert Advisory Council under the President of the Republic on the draft of the new Constitution of the country, made a worthy contribution to the development of individual constitutional and legal institutions. He has repeatedly participated in the proceedings of the Constitutional Council as an expert. Scientific and practical comments to the Constitution play an important role in revealing the creative potential of the Basic Law, in the publication of which M.Suleimenov took an active part.

The great merits of our Teacher in the formation and development of the civil legislation of sovereign Kazakhstan are widely acknowledged.

К. Mami wished Academician M.Suleimenov good health, family well- being and success in the development of legal science.

The forum was also attended by representatives of the state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the scientific legal community of the countries of the near and far abroad.
