СONGRATULATIONS FROM THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF AZERBAIJAN

The Chairman of the Constitutional Court of Azerbaijan, Mr. Farhad Abdullayev, sent his congratulations on the occasion of the Constitution Day and the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He noted, that the past period was an important landmark, marked by the building of a modern State based on the rule of law and the strengthening of the country's authority in the international arena. The created legal system served as the foundation for the development of democratic values and ensuring human rights and freedoms. The Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan also makes an effective contribution to this process.

As the most important institution in ensuring the supremacy of the Basic Law, the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan also plays an important role in organizing a platform for international cooperation between the constitutional review bodies of different countries.

Thanks to the successful presidency of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions, in the most difficult period of the global pandemic, the fourth Congress of the Organization was successfully held, which made it possible to exchange views on a whole range of legal issues that are relevant in the modern system of constitutional justice.

Taking this opportunity, I would like to once again thank the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan and, in particular, the Chairman, Mr. Kairat Mami, for the effective contribution made to the strengthening of international legal cooperation.
