CHAIRMAN’S PROCEDURAL REQUEST OF THE MAZHILIS OF THE PARLIAMENT ACCEPTED FOR PROCEEDING

The Constitutional Council has accepted Chairman’s procedural request of the Mazhilis of the Parliament on the interpretation of the regulatory decree of the Constitutional Council dated March 16, 2011 № 3 «On the official interpretation of the norm of paragraph 3 of Article 71 of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan» on January 27, 2020.
The procedural request has raised the question on additional clarification of the procedure for appointing members of the Constitutional Council.
According to the Constitutional Law «On the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan», the work has begun on preparing materials for the Council meeting, at which the said request will be examined on the merits.
