INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE IN HONOR OF THE 25TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

On February 19-21, 2020, in Chisinau, a member of the Constitutional Council, R. Mukashev took part in the international conference on: “The constitutional justice and public reaction: when the decisions of constitutional courts do not agree with the opinion of the majority of society”, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova.
The event was attended by heads of constitutional review bodies, representatives of authoritative international organizations and human rights institutions.
On the first day of the conference work the participants were welcomed by the President of Moldova Igor Dodon.  In the framework of the plenary session R.Mukashev delivered a greeting speech. 
In the course of the conference the meeting of  R.Mukashev  and the President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova V.M. Turcan,  took place, where they discussed issues of cooperation between  two bodies in the field of ensuring constitutional legality.
In conclusion, R. Mukashev, on behalf of the Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, K. Mami invited Mr.V. Turcan to take part in events dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
