INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CONSTITUTION DAY

On August 21, 2020 international scientific and practical conference was held on "The constitutional and legal mechanism for the implementation of human and civil rights and freedoms in the Republic of Kazakhstan" dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The conference was organized and held in Shrakbek Kabylbayev Kostanay MIA Academy. Chairman of the Constitutional Council K. Mami addressed the participants with a welcome speech, in which he noted that today's event is held in the year of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic. The Constitution, adopted at a national referendum on August 30, 1995, proclaimed the program goal-the establishment of the rule of law in Kazakhstan. It has defined completely new guidelines and vectors for all state activities. The member of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan I. Merkel made a report on "The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the Basic Law of our country" The forum was also attended by representatives of the scientific community, law enforcement bodies and foreign experts.
