TOOK PLACE MEETING OF THE GENERAL SECRETARIES OF THE ASIAN ASSOCIATION

On August 26, 2020, an online meeting of the Secretaries General of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions took place. It was held under the chairmanship of the Constitutional Council in this organization on the eve of the meeting of the Council of Members and the IV Congress of the Association. The participants of the event were greeted by the Chairman-in- Office of the Association K. Mami. Congratulating the guests on the 10th anniversary of the Association, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan noted the fruitful cooperation of the secretary’s general in promoting its statutory goals. The offices of the bodies - members of the Association maintain relationships on an ongoing basis and ensure the activities of the Council of Members and the Congress. The delegations discussed draft amendments to the Charter and other documents planned for adoption at a meeting of the Council of Members, the issues of joining the Association of new members, as well as the activities of the permanent secretariats of the organization based in Indonesia, Korea and Turkey. In addition, the parties exchanged views on the content of the final document of the Association, which will be approved by the results of the IV Congress.
