CONSTITUTIONAL COUNCIL HAVE DISCUSSED ISSUES OF HUMAN RIGHTS PROTECTION

On August 28, 2020, an international conference was held "The value of man in the Eurasian model of constitutionalism: from ideas to reality (to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan)." The organizers were the Сonstitutional Council and M.Narikbayev KAZGUU University. Welcoming the participants of the forum, Chairman of the Constitutional Council K. Mami noted that August 30 of this year marks the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The anniversary of the main legal act is a significant event in the life of the Kazakh nation. The Constitution, which finally determined the priorities and appearance of sovereign Kazakhstan, incorporating the best legal traditions of the country and global values, became the foundation for the creation of a new statehood, peace and steady growth in ascending direction. The guests were also greeted by The Chairman Of The Board of KAZGUU University T.Narikbayev. Also, the well-known scientists-legists that shared the opinions on questions of strengthening of guarantees of constitutional rights for personality came forward with presentations. Within the conference K.Mami presented anniversary edition of the
illustrated Constitution of Republic of Kazakhstan. It is prepared to execute of the National plan of events on realization of 25 year of the Constitution of the
Republic. The book-album of the Constitution of the Republic is published in three languages (Kazakh, Russian and English). The each article of the Basic Law is accompanied by thematic photographs, which is one of the forms of propaganda of constitutional values. The publication was sent to state bodies, universities and other organizations, and will also be available in the country's libraries and on the website of the Constitutional Council.
