CHAIRMAN OF THE INTERNATIONAL UNION OF LAWYERS SENT CONGRATULATIONS

On behalf of the International Union of lawyers, it is a great honor for me to welcome and congratulate You on a significant event - the 4th Congress (international conference) of the Associations of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions and the 25th Anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan – noted Mr. Trebkov in his congratulation. The Association of Asian constitutional courts and equivalent institutions, which was established ten years ago, plays a crucial role in strengthening and developing the constitutional system jurisdictions on the territory of eighteen member states of the Association. Over the years, it has become an authoritative regional organization that unites the efforts of its members in building a full-fledged civil society, protecting the rights and
freedoms of citizens, democracy and the rule of law. The special significance of the current IV Congress of the Association is given to its holding during the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the main and favorite holiday of Kazakhstanis. The Constitutional Council of Kazakhstan, which currently chairs the Association, has done a great job in preparing the Congress, overcame certain objective difficulties, and provided high-level reception and work of its participants. All this gives reason to believe that the IV Congress of the Association will become a new important stage in the further modernization and improvement of the systems of constitutional justice, increasing the authority, independence and effectiveness of the constitutional system. I am sure that both the previous ten-year and further activities of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and Equivalent Institutions will serve the interests of the member states of the Association, society, all citizens and all the noble goals outlined in the Charter of Your Association. I wish the Congress fruitful work, and its delegates and guests good health, success and good luck in all their activities and endeavors, prosperity and happiness!
