ONLINE CONFERENCE OF THE EAEU COURT

Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan K. Mami online welcomed the participants of the third international conference of the Court of the Eurasian Economic Union entitled «New Challenges for EAEU Integration: the Legal Dimension», which opened in Minsk, Republic of Belarus.

In his speech, he noted that Kazakhstan has always been an active supporter of Eurasian integration, the idea of which was first introduced by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev in 1994 in Moscow. The Treaty establishing the Eurasian Economic Union was signed in the capital of Kazakhstan in 2014. Over the years, the integration processes in the Eurasian space have been developing rapidly, there is a close interaction of countries within the EAEU. As cooperation deepens, legal institutions are also being improved. All these measures are aimed at increasing the competitiveness of national economies and improving the living standards of the population of the member states.

In addition, K. Mami emphasized the important work of the EAEU Court, which makes great efforts to ensure the rule of law in this area, as well as fruitful cooperation between the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the EAEU Court.

In conclusion, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council expressed gratitude to the representatives of the EAEU Court for their active participation in the fourth Congress of the Association of Asian Constitutional Courts and the International conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan held in Kazakhstan. The Forum will continue its work until November 28 of this year.
