SOLEMN MEETING DEDICATED TO THE DAY OF THE FIRST PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN

On November 27, 2020, the Constitutional Council held a solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of
Kazakhstan.
Opening the event, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council K. Mami noted that this year the celebration of the Day of the First President of the Republic takes place within the framework of the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These values are closely related. The name of the First President of Kazakhstan forever went down in the history of the country as a pioneer who took upon himself a huge responsibility for the formation and development of the country. Within the framework of the solemn event, the Chairman of the Constitutional Council presented the Jubilee medal “Қазақстан Конституциясына 25 жыл” (“25 years of the Constitution of Kazakhstan”).” to a number of public figures and officials who made a significant contribution to ensuring the supremacy of the Constitution and protecting the constitutional rights of citizens.
