INTERNATIONAL ROUND TABLE ON REFERRAL OF THE DECISIONS TO THE CONSTITUTIONAL COUNCIL BY ORDINARY COURTS

On February 26, 2021, an online international round table will be held on the topic “Referral of the requests to the Constitutional Council by ordinary courts".

The round table will discuss the implementation of Article 78 of the Constitution, consideration of petitions from the Prosecutor, lawyer and other participants to proceedings to appeal to the Constitutional Council with a proposal to review the constitutionality of the law or other normative legal act applied in the case.

Representatives of the Constitutional Council, the Supreme Court, the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Justice, the Bar, legal scholars, as well as foreign experts representing the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe and the constitutional review bodies of France, Korea and other countries will make reports.
