Constitutional Court to Review Provisions on Benefits for Awarded Mothers of Large Families

The Constitutional Court has accepted for constitutional proceedings a petition seeking review of the constitutionality of the first part of paragraph 1 of Article 93 and paragraph 1 of Article 94 of the Social Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The applicant considers that mothers of large families who received state awards during the Soviet period for giving birth to and raising six or more children should be entitled to benefits on an equal basis with mothers who have received awards in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The outcome of the proceedings will be published on the official website and Telegram channel of the Constitutional Court.
