WHO predicts a second wave of coronavirus in the fall. In this regard, the procurement and provision of medical institutions in the region with medicines and medical products are under control.
Today, a 2-month supply of medicines for the treatment of coronavirus infection has been formed in the region in infectious and dispensary hospitals. The list of medicines at the outpatient level for the treatment of COVID-19, consisting of 5 names, has been expanded. Thus, despite the results of the PCR test, patients diagnosed with COVID-19 with a mild course of the disease can receive antipyretic and anticoagulants as directed by their doctor.
In addition, in order to prevent a shortage of drugs in the coming autumn-winter period with the seasonal incidence of ARVI, influenza and the next wave of coronavirus infection, a drug stabilization fund was created at the expense of the local budget.
In accordance with this, the regional health department, together with the regional pharmaceutical association, has drawn up an application for the purchase of medicines and medical devices. The list includes the most frequently used 93 names of drugs of the following pharmacological groups: antibiotics, anticoagulants, antiviral, antipyretic, vitamins, hormonal drugs.
Today, there are 328 pharmacy organizations operating in the Kyzylorda region. Of these, 311 are private property. And 157 are located in rural areas.
The drugs purchased from the stabilization fund are planned to be delivered to pharmacy warehouses that have certificates of good distribution practice GDP.
Provision of pharmaceuticals to pharmacies in districts and remote settlements is under control.
Also, the issue of preventing the shortage of medical masks is being considered. Today there are about 150,000 medical masks in the region's pharmacies. In the future, their number will be increased.
